Finally, the weather is warming up so it’s time to switch out your safety helmet for a vented version. Safety helmets are typically offered in both vented and non-vented versions.
Non-vented is ideal for the winter months as it reduces any rain from getting into your safety helmet and onto your head, now we are moving into the warmer months with less chance of such frequent rain it’s time to make the adjustment.
Product selection – any safety helmet with ventilation would be recommended.

Eye protection:
Due to the brighter days and early morning light, we would recommend moving to safety spectacles that offer a smoke lens option.
A smoke lens safety spectacle offers excellent protection against UVA/UVB and solar radiation 99.9% protection.
Most safety spectacles will at least have a clear lens and smoke lens variations, if however, your safety glasses don’t offer this variation here is an example of an excellent product.

A high visibility sweatshirt is an excellent idea when going into the warmer months, the versatility it offers is simply unmatched! It is the perfect middle ground when too hot in a jacket and too cold in a t-shirt.
